hello everyone on this forum, i am currently in a struggle choosing headphones :/ My price range is 100-400. some suggestions i find nice lookings are
1.ATH-PRO700MK2
2.hfi 580premium
3.ath m50(is a complete no after googling)
4.xb1000

headsets ive tried.. please dont hate but i tried all beat headsets and yes i liked them but know your overpaying so much so i want better quality :).
i like bass headphones like these mentioned above. i like everything from rap to electro and screamo. im not a jazzy person. i want high end quality with a good thumping base "something like hmm the thumping of the beats pros, and then the sound quality of good headphones." please comment and help me choose one of these 4. OH and yes please reccomend why and why not to choose one of these 4 and if yes why choose the specific u suggested for me.

also please dont say something like"beat sux blabla, cus yes i know they're not good in sound quality. That is why i came here for assistance."

open for reccomendations.

i have a pair of Xb-700's and these do have a large amount of base.  You can even buy a portable amp and use it to boost the bass.  I've heard great things about the XB1000, but have only used the XB700 and XB500.

Those are very different headphones. The ATH PRO700MK2 is an extremely bassy headphone, but is not very "refined" and has a pretty dark sound overall. The HFI 580 is an excellent headphone, with a sparkly high end, deep impactful bass and a bit of a recessed midrange, but remains clear. It's a bright and clean headphone overall. The ATH M50 is a whole different story... I find the ATH M50 to be the worst headphone on your list. The bass is bloated, the mids are very recessed (and slightly muddy), but the highs are OK. Nothing special. The XB1000 is a great headphone for bassheads (like me). It has a great amount of bass, but remains clear in all frequencies. I'd say between the HFI 580 and the XB1000. One is $120 (hfi 580) and one is $300 (xb1000). The HFI 580 are more aggressive, while the XB1000 is a bit more laid back.

read something about a "darth beyer something is this any good?

Those would be good, they do look awesome. I'd recommend the Hifiman HE-400 then when you have some more money grab a FiiO E10 and leave the forums!

His budget is $100-$400..

but the hifiman he 400 is $400 alone... The E10 will add $70 (approximately)

That's why I suggested spend the $400 and when you get money get the E10..
