I have the MS-Pros, which I chose over the RS-1 as I liked what sounded more neutral to me. I've also had a set of HF-2s that I wish I'd kept...

What is it that you want from your next headphone?
 
Eg, warmth, treble, bass, sound-stage?

Haha, why not try and wait for some impressions on the PS 500s, that good deal for the GS1000s may go though.

Yeah, I really would say just go for PS-500 or buy another HF-2. But GS-1000 for 630 bucks is incredible deal.

Non I GS1000 don't normally go for much more than that so there's no need to force yourself to make a decision in a hurry.
You should wait if you are not sure.

I passed on the GS1000s and I am trying to sell the MS-Pros and shooting for the PS-1000s

I prefer the RS-1 to the GS1k, so just do a trade for RS-1's afterwards haha!
 
As good as the PS500's could be, they won't be as good as RS-1's which a lot of people already have, so I don't understand the hubbub with them...

I've owned all the dynamic flagships (and almost every Grado), and these are number one in my book.
