Hey guys,
 
Problem:
I have recently purchase my new set up Mjolnir/Gungnir but when I change sample rate from 96KHz to 192Khz my system will stop outputting all sound from my Gungnir. This Gungnir will not output any sound untill I will switch to lower sample rate. I also have played music from multiple music players to see if it was a problem with a sound player.
 
What I use to connect my computer to Gungnir:
 
I am currently using optical cable to connect from my computers motherboard to Gungnir:

Motherboard: Maximus Vi Hero.

Optical cable used in this setup: current cable is very cheap that came from ebay. Tomorrow I will receive  Toslink to Toslink 5.mm OD cable from monoprice.

Some ( majority) DACs are limited to 24/96 through is optical USB, so maybe a quick look into the owner manual will give you're answer.

I have not talked to schiit about my problem. I was going to talk to them this Monday if no one here can help me with my problem.
 
I also want to add that I am using windows 8.0.

Hey guys, sorry I was way for a bit to long. I have looked at the schiit audio website and I only find drivers for the USB 2.0 to Gungnir but not for optical to Gungnir. Can any one help to find thous drivers?
