Hello all !

I just ordered a Hifiman EF2A amp for use with my macbookpro and my 1964 quads, can I also use them with my Harman Kardon 2.1 soundsticks 2 to improve them or the amp isn't enough powerful ?

It's possible, but it's been a while since I owned those HKs. Keep in mind the Soundsticks are kind of bright sounding, and (supposedly) so is the stock EF2A-so you might be looking at a tube change soon.

Thanks for your answer, I ordered one matched pair of Mullard NOS 6AK5 and one another of Raytheon 6AK5W, do you think they will really improve my EF-2A for use especially with my 1964 quads IEM ?

Not sure-I'm not really into tube amps yet, and haven't heard the EF2A. Just reporting what others have mentioned here, combined with my personal experience with the Soundsticks.
