everyone craps on Topping and says they trash.
I am not aware of that. I have a Topping A90D/E70 combo, and it's great!
There are probably better options out there.

I have a few other combos that cost more, but I don't hesitate to use Topping.
A90D has plenty of power, and the sound is good with E70.

If you buy Aune...later on, you will probably start reading people's trash on Aune, too :)

Cheers!

What Flux do you have?

I was curious after your post and saw this FLUX FA-10:
300Ohm: 1.7W RMS per channel, 32Ohm: 16W RMS per channel, 600Ohm: 1W RMS per channel

It seems very interesting and tempting. There is huge output power at 32ohm, but not so much at 300ohm. Why 16W at 32ohm?
What headphones do they target? Susvara is 60ohm...

Cheers!

Another question if anyone is kind enough to know the answer. Has anyone tried the Dekoni Audio Foam Attenuation Kit with the Stealth to lower the treble a little bit? If so, How did it work for you? And how did you place it?

Thank you in advance.

Has anyone tried the ZMF lambskins pads with the HE1000V2 and compared it to stock? Was wondering how it affects sound and if its more comfortable to wear
Me too, eagerly awaiting somebody to take the plunge for the lot of us.

- They stopped making the FA. The Mentor is the only one made now.
- The higher the Ohms (resistance) the less power (W) you can run through it.
- You can’t buy anything from Flux till they get production back up from the recent Russian missile attacks just last week.

- If you like Topping you should wait for the A900/D900 to come out around summer time.

If you haven't heard it, go check out the Convergence album with Malia & Boris Blank. Very different from what you linked, but completely fantastic, especially through the HE1000's :)

There's never been an IEM to sound as good as an HeK tbh.
And how could it?
Not sure if this is the right place, but I'm going to try my luck in this thread: Are any of you HE1000 users into IEM's as well?

I love my HEKS, and I've been spoiled with their fantastic sound.
I'm looking to upgrade my IEM's, as I enjoy using them while working. Summer is also coming, and big headphones make my small head sweat in the heat :D

I would love to get IEM's that have similar qualities as the HEKS, and I've been looking at reviews for a few months now, but not sure if I'm getting closer to anything final. Unfortunate I have very limited options to go listen to IEM's as the shops we have locally, won't allow it for hygiene reasons.

So, has anyone in here found a good set of IEM's that have some of the qualities that the HE1000's also have? Preferable in the $4-500US price range?
Subtonic storm , feiwan, annihilator 2023. Lol... I use IEM and headphone. Currently my IEM is Grand Maestro. IEM sound more resolving but usually with less stage and immersiveness. Try for yourself. 500usd price range... Hmmmm not sure what to recommend.

Edit: oh wait! You should increase your budget and try the 7th acoustic supernova but yeah totally different sounding compared to he1000se still it is very good IMO nothing beats it at the price range.

Does anyone have tried the ZMF pads with their he1000? How was it?
