today i recieved a studio v from a fellow headfier. i turned it on and everything worked properly. than i connected it with my macbook and  it was shown in the finder. i tried to delete the music that was already on it, when suddenly the device was unmounted with a warning. when i now try to turn on the studio v, it asks, if i would like to repair and format it. when i click ok, nothing hapens. when i click cancel it says, that it cannot boot and shuts down. when i reconnect it to my macbook now, it does not show up in the finder anymore.
 
what could i do?
 
edit: i managed to get it connected with a windwos xp pc and overwrite the firmware. everything seems to work for now.
