I just bought a HotAudio Mark IV but am having a bit of buyer's remorse.

I've been looking at the NuForce uDAC thread and saw that it compared quite favorably to HotAudio DACs. However, my budget is quite limited and the Mark IV was a lot cheaper than the uDAC.

My question is, is it really worth it to save up for the NuForce uDAC at $100 or should I just stick with the HotAudio Mark IV for $50?

Do you enjoy how the HotAudio sounds with your music?

I find sometimes that the flavor of the months here get hyped up much more than they really are. I say if your happy with the HotAudio stick with it and save up for a much larger step up later.

It's a slippery slope to upgrade madness. If you're itching for the uDAC now, what's to stop you from going further?

I have the HotAudio dac destroyer and am happy with it.
