I was just curious about the FiiO E11, and how it performs- I've heard a lot of great things about it. I've also heard that the E12 is but a small step above the E11, and from the pictures I've seen of the E11, it has an EQ tuner, which the E12 does not have, a swing and a miss in my book.

Plus, I own the Denon D2000's, and I've heard that the D2000/E11 combo is really nice.

Cheers

I wouldn't really call the 2 levels of bass boost an "EQ Tuner"...

The E12 is quite a step up from the E11 considering it puts out almost a watt into 32 ohms compared to the E11's 180 mW.

Oh, I see, well, the E12 still only has one option for bass boost.

Guess I'll stick with the E12. I was just thinking the E11 would be more appropriate since the E12 was kind of designed for powering headphones with a lot more impedance than 25 ohms. I still originally chose it though, because I'd heard it has a cleaner, more analytical sound, while still having some warmth to it.

Well the level 2 on the E11 is almost un listenable, I find it way too much.

If you find the E12 too big, then you might want to sell it and get a C&C BH2 the guys are getting 80 hours between charges.

Thanks for the suggestion, this amp looks nice, great sound, designed for low-impedance headphones. Do you know if they work well with the D2000's?

That I couldn't say, best to ask in that thread if anyone has D2000's.
