so anyway, I vaguely know about the AKG K240 which is a closed reference headphone but is it really worth 170,000 yen (about $1700)?

Hell no... good price for this is 35-65$. And it is very mediocre semi-open headphone with bloated, undefined bass and weak vocals, You have to equalize to receive something... however it is old school and was popular 10 years ago...

I'm pretty sure that the comma is meant to be a decimal point and this is just a ploy by the government to instate smaller quantities of currency. See, they "say' they're getting rid of the penny when in actuality they've already started minting 0.001 cent coins (henceforth known as the trany) and 0.00001 cent coins (henceforth known as the fany) as of this very moment. All very diabolical, yes. What I'm more worried about is that Amazon is in on it so early but that's another topic for another day.

I suggest you one-up the stupid government and snatch them up ($5 for the K240 is a very good deal by any means!) before inflation kicks in on the fanys. Show them who's boss.
