I can't get the micro idsd BL to work with Nokia 8 (OTG). What...!!!
Worked great with Note 8.
Either software related or the cable. It works on my Mate 10 Pro with a USB-C OTG adapter and Hiby Player.

Cable is fine. I've tried 2 different cables.Either software related or the cable. It works on my Mate 10 Pro with a USB-C OTG adapter and Hiby Player.
Quite false info you've got because i have Micro IDSD BL & S8+ too, and since the day one i'm in audio nirvanaI've read that it doesn't work with Galaxy S8+ as well
Well, those are good news at least. Unfortunately I'm not in nirvana because it doesn't work with my new smartphone.Quite false info you've got because i have Micro IDSD BL & S8+ too, and since the day one i'm in audio nirvana

Is there any sound difference between a 6.5 mm plug and a 3.5 mm plug? I'll be pairing a Focal Elear with the Micro BL and apparently have the option of either. Will be looking to replace the cable with a shorter one.
Has some one paired the BL with the LCD 2Cs ? Any impressions would be appreciated.
No sound difference. To use a 3.5mm connector you'll need an adapter anyway and the furutech provided with the BL is of high quality.
Depending on the other gear you'll be using the Clears, I'd go with a 6.3mm connector for a bit better stability (less moving mechanical parts). Or if you use mostly 3.5mm gear go with that one.
If you choose to believe theres a difference then for you theres a difference. Is there any sound difference between a 6.5 mm plug and a 3.5 mm plug? I'll be pairing a Focal Elear with the Micro BL and apparently have the option of either. Will be looking to replace the cable with a shorter one.
He means the other way around (but I guess it depends on which direction you are describing too, lol).Wait, the Micro BL comes with a 6.3 to 3.5 adapter? ....
... The iFi micro BL is good with almost any headphone, I don't remember trying something that sounds bad on it. Considering that it's a portable unit I think it's going to be hard to find something better in it's price range.
