I bought the ie8 the other day and now I'm thinking which tips is best suited for it
I've got some UE silicon and comply t-400
I've heard that the nozzle is very fragile when you try to remove the comply t-400 from it? 
i've also been wondering if sony hybrid is worth the money
is the nozzle of ie8 really that fragile?

Not really fragile. I use CX300 tips on my IE8s and I feel that they control the bass well. Complys IMO muddy up the bass a bit and kills some of the treble detail. However, if you make a small vertical slit at the end of rubber core of the comply tip you can quite easily put it onto the nozzle.
