Hi, for the last period of time I looked for IEMs with good punchy bass and a warm, not too forward mid and treble presentation, coming from a Moondrop Variations which in stock form I don't love (too thin sounding) but has great details,stage and punch after some EQ .
After searching for quite some time online the IE900 caught my eyes. I even equalized my Variations to resemble the Flagship Sennheiser.
The result is that I loved the organic natural sound, but EQ is not really my thing with IEMs because of my multiple sources and the real thing is obviously going to sound different. After coming across the Fir Audio M3 and reading about its "Tactile Bass" I haven't found any comparisons online between the two other than frequency response graphs. This is weird to me given the fact that both of them are described as quality Bass earphones, in almost the same kilobuck price-bracket. If anyone has heard both and can give some comparison I would gladly appreciate. Thanks in advance.
