Hi. Could someone pass the wiring diagram of this PtoS adapter, please? Is it really in series? A single 75ohm resistor in the cold, is it enough? Or one in each hot (L R)? Thanks.

A pair (2) of 75ohm resistor, one on each (hot) channels in series. Nothing on the ground (cold).

Hi guys. Well, after a couple of months loving my ER2XR y decided to get the ER4SR as a more neutral and detailed complement. Well I think I ended up loving them even more. So both are my favorite IEM, for different moods.

I was wondering, which natural lubricants are proven to work with the etys already (other than saliva)? I keep my ears generally clean and dry, which makes things a bit difficult both for inserting and adjusting. Is there any lubricant that my ears absorb as the hours passes? I wouldn't want to make a mess everywhere including the storage little bag or anything, much less clogging the filters or worse.

I have never tried it, but there is a product called Oto-Ease that is designed for this.

I just shove them in there dry.

Nah, just a normal routine for an Ety fan. After all, tips do get softer with time. Now the real challenge comes with a fresh out-of-the box frosted triple flanges. Putting them dry can make cry even a grown-up man:sweat_smile:
Shush, you’re scaring the children!

no issue with putting in the nice grey foams. just roll em and put em in. like earplugs.

I searched this last week and someone said coconut oil. I've only tried it once (I've only used etys once this week) but it worked well. Just the tiniest amount, grease your finger with the oil and rub over the entire tip. It may have been easier that my oil was hard due to the cold temperatures here, I guess it could be messier in it's liquid form. I fell asleep with my coconut oiled er2xr in for hours, no irritation or any other negative points. This was with the stock clear triple flanges.

Fortunately, my ER4SR is still working. Because I'm in hell ... again. I already had to go through five months of renovations in the apartment next door (walls being torn down, floor being scrapped off, etc.), and now they're destroying buildings just across the street, to build a 22-floor building instead. See video attached (I had to zip it to upload it).

Yes, I really want to share at least a few seconds of my pain with all of you. Christmas spirit and all that. I was tempted to recommend listening at full volume for a more realistic experience, but I don't want to get sued.
