FWIW: I’ve had the iDSD for a while and didn’t really believe that I would need the ican (no signature) Got a very good offer though and received the Ivan last week. Until now I am very happy, it simply takes the sound up a level. However, I think that if you buy both at the same time, you may have to pay more attention to appreciate any difference….

My iDSD Signature is delayed. So hopefully I'll still get my iCAN signature this week.

Note to tube rollers be sure you buy closely matched pairs of tubes or they will not work the pro series is picky about tube matching.

I have received an IFI Pro IDSD today. I have Focal Stellia headphones with a 3.5MM Single Ended termination.

Is it worth me getting this re-terminated into 2.5MM Balanced, is there any gain from doing so?

Also, I cant see a serial number anywhere on my device, and this is needed to access the firmware download page. Is there a direct download link that someone can provide me to the latest firmware?

Finally, for the life of me I cant find the Muzo player on the IOS store, is it even on there..?

Its been used for 2.5 years.
Is that a good price would you say?
How satisfied are long-term users with the iDSD?
Considering driving the Stellia off it in the office OR the HD800S in a different setting from my primary rig.

Serial number should be on the printed sleeve the box slips into

Your Pro iDSD serial number should start with: 30020 or 30120. 2.5mm = 30020xxxxx, 4.4mm = 31200xxxxx. You can try a made up number - I just put in 3002000152 and that worked.
