So now that I've finally decided I want to get the AKG k550 I'm looking for an amplifier.
I know these HPs are easy to drive, but an amp was still recommended. I will listen to them at home on the computer (bad soundcard), on my Android phone and on a laptop (not sure if it's any different to PC). A lot of people seem to be into FiiO E7, E11 and E17. E11 is supposed to be more powerful than E7, but E7 is supposed to have some DAC thing that I'm not sure what is (i just have a hunch it's necessary). It was said E17 overrules them both but I'm not sure i need it. It is kind of more expensive, but not unaffordable, still only if the difference would be really noticeable.
