Hi everyone
I'm considering woo audio WA5.Without upgrading,it will cost me $3150,but the parts upgrade(not the tube upgrade)will cost another $1300,so could someone tell me is it important to upgrade?Are there some big difference between upgraded and ont upgraded?I don't have too much money,so I don't want to waste my money.Please show me your suggistions.Thank you very much!

The fact that you're considering this level of purchase, and you're having problems knowing if there's even a difference, says you should probably not buy anything at all.
 
Also, if you don't have too much money, and you don't want to waste it, why would you be considering a several thousand dollar amplifier?
 
What headphones are you using?
What DAC are you using?
What source media are you going to playback?
What's your real world budget?
Where are you in the world?

Thank you for your suggestion.I'm in Singapore,and I want to have Audeze LCD-3 for my headphone.I have read some reviews and found that WA5 is a wise choice.I just confused that whether it is important to upgrade it.If it's important,I can upgrade without considering money.Any suggestions?Thank you very much.

I have enough money for WA5 without upgrading,but if do the parts upgrading,I may have to wait three or four moths to earn money.Thank you!

I suggest you post in the summit-fi (high-end) section for appropriate answers.
 
That said, I wouldn't bother with the Woo for an ortho. I'd get a high end speaker amp.
