So I've been using the e17 for about two years now and I really love it, but I've recently started listening to more bass-oriented music and occasionally even the +10 bass setting isn't enough especially if I'm using my GR07's.  I'm just wondering if anyone has done a comparison between these two amps, as I couldn't seem to find one by searching these forums and google.  I'm curious how they compare both as bass-boosting amps and as flat amps.

Well, I would suggest you find more rumbly headphones/earphones rather than more bass quantity. The impact and rumble "feel" is very important as well. I find that  the Westone 4R, which is quite neutral, has extremely pleasing bass to me as a basshead.
 
Also, the Audeze LCD2 is the same story. There's a fairly neutral amount of bass, but when there is bass, it punches you in the face and you can feel it quaking your brain.
