I know the "i" in GS1000i means improve but by how much. Is it worth it to get a used GS1000 or the new improve GS1000i ??? Any idea guys? I can get a GS1000 easier than the new gs1000"i" version. Right now I'm using Grado's PS500.

I would ask in the summit-fi high-end forum.
 
Personally though, I would say that if you can save a few hundred dollars getting the non-i version, then I would go with that even if the i-version is slightly "better" (more like just different, but it's all... just preference anyways).
