2020 12.9" iPad Pro.

I don't know if I'm overlooking some settings or if the camera is defective, but I have yet to take a picture that could even be described as adequate*. Despite clean lenses, proper lighting, and steady hands, pictures are out of focus and seem to have some sort of anti-aliasing filter applied to soften jagged edges which makes it look blurrier. I have HDR off, but am unable to find any advanced settings.

Any tips would be appreciated.


*adequate for a tablet or other non-camera device.

I’d bet it’s defective as well. Try another photo app to see if it’s an issue with your camera application. It’s unlikely that it’s the issue, but you might as well rule it out.

Joking aside, keeping it fixed at a place and adjusting light conditions were all I could

It does sound defective. I have the same and pictures are great.

I can take horrible pictures with the best camera on earth. Make sure the problem isn't like mine
