Hey everyone,

I'll be going to Japan in a couple months, not my first time there, and was wondering if anyone has recommendations on things to listen to other than hp/iem?

I already have a list of headphones and iem that I will check out while there, but are there other luggage size things that I should check out. Maybe a hp amp, or phono preamp?

Edit: made in Japan. I would to get something while I'm there.

Thanks. First time I heard of Mass Kobo. Really nice, but most of the products are out of my price range for purchase.

I could easily recommend getting into the backside of the Yodobashi audio section where it is much quieter and you can have a better listen of the various HP/IEM amps.

Too noisy out on the main floor.

That is a definite. Last time I didn't know about that and just stayed in the main building.

While I'm in the main building though I want to look at something like the denon pma-390, or pioneer a20

This is a passive preamp/volume control made of Penny and Giles faders, not sure of the impedance, but ideally 10K ohms..
