As for your actual question, I can't help. I'm suspecting lower output impedance and based on the specs a stronger amp in the A9, but other than that...

Nope, I just used the power of google and the phonearena to infer that one. I've settled on a Sony Z5 compact. Sonically inferior, but still rather good and it takes my 256 GB micro SD card. I've got a Sony A15 DAP for when I need good quality on the go.

Im my case its all about streaming so my DAPs are all useless ans I have plenty of them. Thats why I am looking for a way to get the best sound possible on the go.
