I love my NEON, except for the shell. I hope the next single BA version can come in a slimmer anodized aluminum shell.

Sony higher end product now have relatively small no nonsense sustainable packaging thats pretty well received. Look how small their $200+ product case.Depending on something more, but I would say a smaller size package will save money when shipping, if we can save money, the price will be more attractive to you.
While using the exact same material might be difficult but at least it could be copied in terms on simplicity. its also cutting cost.
We don't care that much on how "extra" the packaging is, just the actual content.
I remember buying auglamour that have somewhat opulent packaging (multiple opening steps) with so many extra stuff (stickers, metal logo, and others) that i don't even care or use. For the most part, personally (iem+cable+eartips+possible case) that's all i care.
TrioxBGGAR with their mele going that route as well. Just a simple box (which anime waifu could be plastered on), inside it there is a case, and inside the case have everything you need. Love it.

@WendyLi I agree with @mochill, I would like to see a DAP from you.
While a DAP might be something out of your reach (these things are an incredibly complex piece of tech - just like a smartphone), a full-sized amplifier or a DAC could be something that you could do.
You can either go the portable route or the full-sized desktop route. Either way, I think there are a good number of people who would be interested in either of these from you for $500-$1000 or even create a TOTL amp/DAC where money is no object.

Going down the DAP route could take KB into dangerous territory!
My initial thought was why would I buy a DAP from an earphone specialist rather than a DAP specialist?
However, one area that could really be exploited is EQ.
Buy a KB/Tri earphone and then download various EQ curves (e.g. Harman) specifically for that earphone using the DAP's Wi-Fi and inbuilt software.
That would be quite a selling point and also encourage purchases of additional products within the brand.

You are right. We should do, but now it is a little hard for us to do. we can take steps and have try.@WendyLi I agree with @mochill, I would like to see a DAP from you.

Yes, before we take any steps, we should make sure that we are always releasing good IEMs, that is the basic.Going down the DAP route could take KB into dangerous territory!

Hi @WendyLi.
I think that after creating a DAC/AMP, the next product would be to create a DAP, or better a pair, one at a more affordable price and one at a higher level, perhaps in the TRI TK-2 price line. I think this is something that has already been noted by other colleagues.
As for IEMS, in the more affordable price range, maybe it would be nice to get out of the V-profile and look for other more balanced profiles. I think there are IEMS from other manufacturers that point in that direction.
Regards.

Must admit, I've only heard the LARK, but it's got wonderful treble for such a budget earphone.

My wife gave me a pair of Lark last birthday . They're indeed beautiful & with good sound!
Still, what prevents me from enjoying them more is the big nozzle, which makes it impossible to push them deeper into my ears for more secure fit

strangely, CP100 on Aurora bring out the opposite results: it tame the 'wilder' side of bass on Aurora, it widen out the stage..ol Spinfit CP100 usually good pair for thin sounding iem, it bring the sound forward, "louder/fuller", but at cost of soundstage.
but thats depend on the fit and aurora tip lip as well.

correct, CP100 help on IEM with short nozzle like Blon BL03.Eartips are as personal as shoes though, as we all have different ear anatomy. In general, I find the spinfit CP100 give a mild V shaped tuning, and boost treble and bass for me. They also increase isolation and extend the reach, so they are pretty useful for IEMs with shorter nozzles.
The little V-shape profile of CP100 on Aurora balancing them by pushing lower the the midbass and low mid on Aurora, basically make it more flatter (not flat but flatter) sounding IEM. Aurora technicalities really brought up well this way.. (they were there, but buried by the forwardness of the original Aurora midbass and low mid)

Yeah, people tells me spinfits cp100 widen the stage and i was like, that didn't happen to me.strangely, CP100 on Aurora bring out the opposite results: it tame the 'wilder' side of bass on Aurora, it widen out the stage..
Not sure on why.
My old iluv dual driver have expansive stage but thin sound with its default tips, i change it to cp100 and the sound get a bit more forward and thicker

Ear tips give different fit, isolation and even sonic changes based on the different ear anatomies, so it is a case of YMMV.
