I bought LSX II as an alternative to a soundbar for my bedroom TV thinking I’d use them occasionally to listen to music as well.
I found myself using them more often for music than my main system and ended up adding the KC62 subwoofer and the KEF LSX II stands.
My main system has now been powered off for months (and for context the amp alone in that system cost more than the LSX II and stands + KC62).
There‘s something about the way the Uni-Q driver throws music into the room that is mesmerizing: It‘s a bit like using headphones where the music is around your head not just in the room.
And they’re not at all fussy about setup or toe-in etc.

The KC62 is a very musical sub. Most other subs I’ve heard, regardless of cost, sound like foghorns to me - it’s the same honky note/tone regardless of what you feed it. Good for movies. Terrible for music.
Bass is super tight, well integrated, and despite its tiny size - plenty powerful.
