it's called an ipod classic w/ sd card adapter if you need something with lower impedance slap an amp on it like a pico or one of the cheapo fiio for $19.

The interface of the Sansa Clip+, the weight of the Sansa Clip+, the features of my smartphone, and the capacity of my smartphone. There isn't much difference in sound quality above $80 or so.

I've had many different devices after Sony X1061 but I got most enjoyment out of X1061. It was small and had good interface and excellent sound with a
decent storage space back then at only $299. Since then we are seeing nothing but hyper inflation in DAP market. X1061 still provides best synergy with
Z1R so it will always be cherished.
