Yes. The LCD2 is warm and dark, the Lyr is warm. The Bifrost is excellent and silent. The Lyr is actually more power than the LCD2 even needs. But it can certainly appreciate the current. The Lyr + Bifrost is excellent for all Orthos in general. It's what it was designed for. I enjoy mine with the HE500.
I have the Asgard / Bifrost / LCD2 combo and love it. This is obviously different than what you asked, but I can say the combo I have is a great match and with the kudos the Lyr receives should be a step up.
Hey there. Just wondering if you picked these up, and if so, what your thoughts are? I'm thinking of doing the same thing later this year. I already have the Bifrost and the Lyr, but thinking of upgrading to the LCD2 from my Senn HD 600's
