I'm considering this combo and i would like to hear some opinions from users about this combination

Does LD2+ drive such low impedance headphones well?

What about the sound ? It's still Grado-like?

i listened to my brother's ld2+ with my sr-225's and i like the tube sound so much that i decided to sell my h5 for a darkvoice.

I can only comment with respect to the LDII+ and SR80s, but I figure, anything the SR80s do well, the SR225s must do better...anyways, I really like this combination. I had been listening to the SR80s out of a PA2v2 previously, and there is a difference. The bass is a little more controlled, while the midrange has that special tube-y magic that I have come to love. Over-driven guitars simply wail on this set-up. All this, IMO of course.

EDIT: As per your question if they're driven well or not, I find that the volume at about 9 o'clock ish is loud enough, maybe 10 or 11 if I'm really into a solo.
