My LP arrived today. Early because it was supposed to get here Wednesday but late because the first one got lost in transport a week ago.
I was just curious if there are any tips or things I should know before I set it up?
Thank you all.

So I have seen good things about these tubes. I did get a discounted offer. I hoping to take a little off the top, add some to the bottom and makes things wider. Soother treble, more bass impact and more soundstage then stock.
What do we think?

6922=e88cc, 6dj8=ecc88, 7308 - no adapter needed for any of these types. The tubes you're getting are the tubes the amp was made for.

This thread has been very fun to read. I recently bought an LP on the recommendation of one of my friends who owns it. I bought mine with a pair of Sylvania JAN 7308 tubes. I'm not super knowledgeable on tubes as this would be my first exposure to them. For those who have more experience, how do these stack for aftermarket tubes on the LP? If I wanted to tube roll, what would be the recommendation? I've seen a lot of talk for the Sylvania 6922 tubes.

I just installed the Gold Lions I ordered. I know there has been a big debate about burn in. While I am not sure, I did think I heard an improvement in sound when I burned in the LP with stick tubes. Not the hundred hours recommended in the LP manual but probably close to sixty. Has anyone had any experience with the Gold Lions and burn in?
Thank you
Thank you
Yes, I have noticed that tubes sound different after some hours of burn-in. Not sure about 100 hours, but to my ears the sound changes slightly over the first few hours of use. Interestingly, if I don't like the way a tube initially sounds (too sharp treble, for example) burn-in usually doesn't make it any better, but if I like the initial sound then I tend to like it even more after burn-in.I just installed the Gold Lions I ordered. I had read, much of the tread and I have learn about tubes but not quite enough to make a decision. I want to buy a new set of tubes for my LP, What would be the best bang for buck tubes new or used. I'm treble sensitive but I Don't want to sacrifice Soundstage or instrument separation.

If you wish to avoid adapters, stay with the 6922 / 6DJ8 / 7308 / E88CC tubes.
