I have already ordered mk2 and look forward to using it as a headphone amp. I am also really hoping I can use it as a pre-amp into a Marantz surround receiver. The mk2 Manual States some limitations on what the mk2 can be paired with . there is evidence, that some people have had great results connecting to similar receivers. I am already using the marantz receiver with an fx audio-03 as preamp with good results.if that means anything. thanks

Yeah, I've used the Little Dot Mk2 as a preamp with powered monitors and the Koss ESP/950 energizer without issue. It makes a noticable impression on the sound of both.
