Budget: <400$
Source: Nexus 7, Galaxy S4 ATT
Isolation: Reasonable isolation of portables
Past Headphones: Cheap-open senn, 363d for gaming, X10 IEMs
Preferred Type of Headphone: Closed portable
Preferred Music: Some vocal heavy genres with little bass: symphonic metal, musical music, opera. Other then that instrumental classic, 80's rock and occasional pop.
Tonal Balance: Well. Mids are most important. Bass with some body will be nice too, but nothing too strong. I'm defiantly not a basshead. Was looking at Sennheiser HD25-1 II, T50p, T51p , DT-1350, Philips M1/28, Momentum on ear. So yeah just looking for nice portables that don't look gigantic on my head. Comfort-wise I do wear glasses, so I would like to avoid super strong clamp. At first I was thinking momentum, but heard that bass makes mids muddy.
