Just to clarify, this is going to be my first pair of decent headphones. With the amount of time i spend listening to music, I should probably invest in some good hardware.
After a week of researching, I found the ATH-M40 to be the best reviewed and the cheapest (they go for $60 on Amazon). However, some reviews suggested that they might not be good for 'home-listening'. Is this true? would the difference be noticeable for someone new? What about the HD555 and MDR7506 (they go for about $80 right now)? What should I look for for the best home-compatible cans?
Thanks guys
