Hello everyone!

  1. I have tried the DT990 Pro and loved the deep bass and brightness. However, it was much too bright for me.
  2. Tried the HD600 and loved the neutrality but it was still a bit bright for me for some music. But, they were amazing for anything with vocals and great for classical music.
  3. I tried the HD650 which fixes the problems with the HD600 for me, but it is too boring now.

Can anyone please suggest a few pairs for me to try on? I listen to almost every single genre out there besides metal (I have nothing against it though!). I like deep extended bass like on the DT990 Pro and love listening to the details (middle frequencies) of music. I like a tiny hint of brightness but not so much that it induces ear fatigue.

Thank you!

If you like bass than stay away from the AKG 701/702s. I own a pair of Denon 1001s that I quit like. Not too bright and a good amount of bass. If you have a 500$ budget though, you might be looking for something more top of the line than the Denon 1001s.
