I happen to have a DT 990 Pro and share your pain, do not know about the ZO2, but the Fiio E9, E10,E11, E17 and cmoy bb might be good options under $100 .. regards,

Click to expand... The Fiio E11 ($60) can drive the DT770 Pro 250-Ohm at a decent volume level with the volume knob at around 45%.
