I’m in the market for a Dac/Amp. If the THX-AAA-789 was available my search would be over (and my post you’d be “what Dac would compliment the thx), alas patience not being one of my strong suits, I’m considering the NFB 11-38 with the TCXO upgrade or the R2R-11 both from Audio-GD. It might help if I had an idea of how long before it returns but I don’t even know if it’ll ever come back again. What are your thoughts, what have you heard? And considering the waiting period, the price and the need for a Dac with the 789, is the nfb a good choice?

NFB is always a good choice. I know there is a lot of talk about the THX but you seriously can't go wrong with NFB. But with the wait time for the NFB to get to you the THX will certainly go back up on Massdrop. Hope that is helpful but I don't think it was
