Hi guys! I’m new to audio and I’m interested in investing in a good pair of closed back headphones for around 500 dollars.

The only reference I have is the dt770s, which imo were under my expectations.

I’ve been looking at reviews and such and I have been getting my eye on either the Beyerdynamic 1770s or the Shure 1540s. However, I’ve been hearing a lot of bad things about the sound in these cans which makes me anxious. So this is where I need your help. What good closed back headphones can you recommend if my main focus is the sound quality?
