First off, I know there are already a bunch of threads like these but hopefully mine is a little more specific, so anyway...

I've been lookin around online for a new pair of in-ear headphones recently since my most recent pair blew out on me. This would be my first higher end in-ear purchase since all the ones i've had before were <$90, ranging from the old stock apple buds (disintegrated haha), to skullcandy 50/50s, to apple in-ears (stolen), to v-moda remix 4s and lastly the most recent (blown out ones) one which was a pair of skullcandys that were around $30. I've been generally disappointed with all of them, especially in the lows/bass (50/50s were the best for me out of the group), I did quite like the clarity of the apple in-ears though.

I listen to really every kind of music except techno, country, folk and heavy metal-esque music. My favorite and most listened to genre though has to be hip hop. So my question is what is the best pair of in-ear headphones for a Hip Hop head that are under/around $300?

As you can hear I'm a big fan of deep heavy drums and smooth but still prominent bass.

A few sets that have interested me are the Ultimate Ears 700, Monster Gratitude, Kipsch Image X7i, and the V-Moda Vibrato. I'm leaning towards the Gratitude but I'm afraid of how I might like the quality of it's lows since it's catered more towards "live music." Another pair that really interested me were the Monster Miles Davis Trumpets but I find them a little pricey seeing as they go for over $300 and I need complete assurance of it's quality for that price.

Even though the UE700 has more bass than other TWFK based IEM's I still don't think it will be enough so I'd take them off your list.  From the ones you listed I assume your looking at say $200 and under so here's a few I'd recommend,

Money isn't really an issue as long as its <$350, but the higher I go in price the more sure I want to be about what its it is I'm purchasing.

The GR07 MK2 and UR TF10 also look interesting to me, thanks for the input! But after doing some research online I'm leaning more towards the Miles Davis Trumpets any thoughts?

Well if you want thoughs I'd get the Yamaha EPH-100 which is basically the same IEM but they sound just a bit better with mids that aren't as recessed.
 
Now if you want a really good sounding IEM the TDK BA200 is very good.  I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and can't take them out of my ears, I've had them on for over 4 hours today since I got up at 6:30.  They have a warmer sound signature like the MDT's but with much more detail and better soundstage with good instrument separation and some of the best imaging I've heard.  Bass is also very good and are just a step behind the MDT and EPH-100 imo.
 
One other that I think sound really good are the Ortofon e-Q5, they sound a lot like the BA200 and they have more bass impact and depth because they use a moving armature which makes the bass sound like a clean dynamic driver, like what the Miles Trumpet uses.
 
I'm really not trying to make the Miles Trumpets sound bad because there a nice IEM but for what they cost which is around $200 you can find a much better sounding IEM imo.  Have you checked out Jokers IEM review thread, he's reviewed 263 so far and his reviews are very good.   You should checkout Jokers thread and look at a few more IEM's before you choose I think, because spending $200 or so you want to make the right choice so good luck and I hope you find one that fits you.

In joker's iem review thread he said the MDTs have a better bass overall (specifically sub-bass I believe) and that's a huge factor for me.

If bass is the biggest factor then get the Miles D Tribute as they have much more bass than the trumpets.  I'm not a huge bass person because I like to hear the music not feel the bass though its not like I don't like bass I just like accurate bass.  
 
Other bass heavy IEM's are 2 you mentioned in the MG7 and Hippo VB, I like the VB more than the MG7.  They both have good sub'bass but the MG7 doesn't have much mid bass at all where the VB has just as much mid as it does sub bass plus it doesn't sound as dark as the MG7.
 
I personally think the best of both world for you will be the GR07, they have plenty of bass and good sub-bass with very good detail and a very wide soundstage just not much depth.  If you need something with better than average bass and good SQ the GR07 is the way to go.
 
I forgot about the Westone W3, they have a lot of bass plus good sub-bass and are as detailed as the GR07 with a spacious soundstage as well.  You can get the W3 for around $270 or so, I think that might be a better fit but both the GR07 and W3 are great IEM's.

The Denon C300, JVC FX700 are bassheavy and bass goes deep and reverb with very detailed mids, highs and they offers wide soundstage, they match well for these genres music.
