Hi!

I tried listening to my friend's Triple-fi's and I loved their detail and the fact that I could "hear everything." However, I was looking for headphones in over the ear or on ear form.

I am looking for headphones that are...
  1. Highly detailed (revealing) throughout lows/mids
  2. Very durable
  3. Has decent bass
  4. Attractive

My budget is: preferably <$150, maximum of $200

So far, I have tried out the M80's (were not very clear but had nice bass). I have considered the SRH840s but they seem to have several stress points where they can break easily. The M50's are cheap right now ($117 on amazon) but I hear they are not very clear.

Thanks!

Jason

M80 isn't all that detailed.

I would recommend a used Beyerdynamic T50p for sure.

UE6000 should also be on your list of considerations.

I second the T50p, also the Grado SR225i sounds amazing and if you don't mind modding them Fostex t50rp.
