Ah ok , what about the low impedance like the 80 or 33 ohm versions ? Also I hear that the k18djs are brill but need a lot of power would an iPhone 4 power then sufficiently ?or would I need an amp?

hi guys, just having a listen to my dads Sennheiser HD565 Ovations ; the quality is brilliant! what could you recommend a pair with lower impedance but with similar sound quality but a little more bass? freq e.g. 5- 35000 hz i.e has to have good highs

ok, im looking at a pair of denon ahd1100, they look good : 5-37000hz and 32ohm impedance, which is good because i would like to power them with my iphone 4 sometimes if im out would you say they would sound good? they are £88 on amazon.co.uk

Get the Shure 750 DJ instead if you want bassy headphones for £60 at HMV online.  Usually sold for £90+  The Denon 1100 is also sold on HMV online for £70.  I read too many mix reviews on it tho to want to buy it.  Check out the reviews on here.

You need nothing more than 20hz-20khz. And that's if you have perfect hearing. Anything lower/higher is inaudible.
