Are the A4's supposed to be hard to drive? I just got some and it was apparently pre owned and they sound meh. I have to practically crank my Shanling M2 and Centrance Mini M8 to get the music to swing.

No, A4 is not hard to drive.
By "hard to drive", sometimes people mean actualizing the IEM's 100% potential. If this is why you mean, based on my own experience, I've found there is a significant improvement on SQ upgrading my source from FiiO X3 to FiiO X7.

Eh, I really don't see that this thread is dying. What I do see is a layout on the forum that makes posting a nightmare which I'm sure is slowing down all threads......
I'm still figuring how to make the quotation work on my Phone...I also don't know how to jump to my last read message...:triportsad:

I see you are covering the bass vent. How's that affecting the sound?

Mind sharing where you got that cable from? While I like my litz cable from impact audio, I'm looking for something with an L connector as the straight connector is placing a lot of stress on my DAP's 2.5mm port
