What things I need for making a headphones with a detachable cable mod? Soldering kit 30w? What other things. I want to test modding my Coloud cheap phones for fun, so can people tell me things I need and where to get the cable like that... If you suggest where to buy the equipment for the mods, please use amazonuk...

I have soldering kit so that I won't need

Depends if you want 1 or 2 cables coming out of your headphones. For 2 cables (  a bit easier to do) you need:

2 mono 3.5mm sockets http://www.maplin.co.uk/screened-3.5mm-mono-chassis-socket-1154
2 mono 3.5mm jacks http://www.maplin.co.uk/metal-3.5mm-monoplug-1148
1 stereo 3.5mm jack http://www.maplin.co.uk/metal-3.5mm-stereo-plug-1187

And wire. I'm sure others will know what wire is better. Though depends on if you want to use silver or copper wire. Have a read up on the forum to see which one you'd prefer.

Seems Mouser have a finnish site. Much better selection than amazon and they ship to Finland

For a 1 cable mod you'll want:

Two 3.5mm stereo jacks http://fi.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Neutrik/NYS231BG/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMv0W4pxf2HiV3OlVHsyQGMd98ZF%252bJIbi20%3d

One 3.5mm stereo socket http://fi.mouser.com/ProductDetail/161-7300-EX/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMv0W4pxf2HiV1GLXLqYoI%252bMFnhAMOPJz4E%3d

Not too sure of the differences between copper and silver cable myself. Just know silver costs a lot more and people argue its better.

Thanks for the links... I have a soldering kit, but I'm totally noob, I have looked few threads in here, but is there any where a damn video tutorial or good tutorial with a lot pictures? I wanna just see if I can do it right and might buy some little expensive headphones and do it for them... HMM this will be a tricky project for a noob

EDIT: Mouser shipping cost a lot 20€ if I wanted to order two of each.. Oh well...
