brand new D2, usb DAC, plugging into brand new asus laptop, and the drivers fail to install. the device is visable in device manger, but with errors. troubleshooting options go nowhere. the device loads fine on a windows xp machine. any advice on how to get windows 7 to upload the drivers from the d2?

the only solutions i have read to similar problems (with other dacs) is to reinstall windows 7 - i'm not sure that's an option - unless it's easier to maintain files and settings than i am imagining.

My TubeMagic D1's drivers installed themselves on both my Windows 7 64bit desktop and notebook. machines.

Is there anything on Maverick's site FAQ about this?

Did you contact their customer service?

I've found their customer service to be responsive and I'm sure they'd rather help you get it functioning than have you send it back so they should be inclined to help you.
