I don't think this post is in the right section. Maybe in the source section or cable section.

But I do believe that cables matter. But you should spend according to your gear level. It doesn't make sense to spend hundreds on a cable with a cheap dac. And you should buy a decent cable even if the dac is cheap and not your typical cheap $3 monoprice cable.
