I'm looking for something with a very rich mid-range to pair with an AK300.

I love the mids on the CA Orion, but find separation and soundstage a little bit lacking. I'm after something that still focusses on mids but is a little bit more refined.

Reading reviews it seems like the JH Lola or Angie might be the way to go, but would love to hear some other suggestions or feedback from Angie/Lola users!

I wouldn't consider anything from JH (that I've tried at least) to be mid centric. Go for FitEar or Shure or something.

Thanks for the suggestion! I'e always found Shure to be bit lifeless to my ears, but ill definitely take a look at FitEar - thanks!

The mids on my Angie sound good. They are not recessed and very clear. The treble and base do not over power them to me. YMMV. Lola is said to be very mid centric.

You might also consider an Andromeda. I think you will find it a big step up from your Orion.
