I'm having a bit of trouble finding the exact specs for this combo. I use the MOTU 828mk3 as my Audio Interface - and I was going to use the Main Headphone output on the MOTU 828mk3 which is 1/4" to 2x RCA of the Beyerdynamic A1's input. Is this the way to go? I can't find the output in mw for the 828mk3 and all I can see from reading the manual of the A1 is its Input impedance of 50 kiloOhms.
I can tell you this, the Main Headphone output on the MOTU 828mk3 drives my DT 770 Pro 80ohm fine as well as my Sennheiser HD25-1 II which I believe to be around 70ohm.
I will be using the A1 to power a pair of beyerdynamic T1 headphones.
My worry is not to fry the A1 by feeding it a signal which is already preamped.
