i've had it for a while but i want to make sure i know everything there is to know about the model and some of you might know something... it's a Sony CDP-C445

and yes i got it for $10 at a goodwill (i LOVE goodwill sometimes)

For $10 you really cant complain - it is an older unit from 1995 or so and retailed for about $200 from 1996 onwards. From a scan of eBay these things or similar are going for about $20 - $60 these days. The question is what does it sound like ? If it sounds good to you then its pedigree is neither here nor there. Reviews seem more or less non existent.
