Hey first time poster here. So I am running DT880 250 ohm out of a presonus HP4 amp at the moment for the purpose of not pissing of the girlfriend when mixing music at night in my home studio. Problem is this is premastered music so it hasn't being brought up to the level we listen back at (premastered peaking around -7ish) and I can not get enough volume out of the DT's. have being looking at the little dot MK V, do you guys thing this amp would achieve greater levels than the HP4? I love these headphones and sound great just would love to get the same play back level of mastered music on premasters.

Can you turn up the output from the mixer to your amp?

My experience with this kind of headphone splitter is limited, take a look at this thread. Posted a few years ago.

I'm tuning it straight from my dac with the output to full and controlling volume with hp4, I can get a good deal on a second hand little dot mk v in my area this is what sparked this.
