Hi all, I'm wondering what're the best chips to make a portable desktop station. I'm looking for audio playing & also a headphone amp all-in-one. I've been researching for a couple weeks now on different chips. I'm looking to make the audio have a good soundstage, good bass, & a touch of warmth.
What I've found so far:
DAC CS4398.
OPA1642 Pre-amp
LME49600 Output Buffer
OP-AMP? I'm not too sure on this one. There is Muses 8920 , Burson v5i, OPA1622?
What do you guys think so far, & what would make a good soundstage, good bass, & a touch of warmth?
Am I missing any components?
