I wanted a pair of HE-6SE but they're 2000 euros here, so not happening.

Is a pair of HE-560s worth a thousand? (Answer, apparently not. And they went out of stock so I didn't get burned for 700 euros...)

I don't have any hifiman cans so I would like to add something good to the stable. I read over the HE-560 thread and it seems like these cans have a lot of fans and no particular shortcomings other than maybe they're more neutral than some people would like.

I like mine a lot. But I do boost the bass a lot with EQ. Need a good amp for that.

Yeah, I saw they're on the hifiman shop open box for that price. The problem is not shipping, but importing. Not worth doing.

The he560 are ok if you have good power, but the Sundara sound nicer to me. The he400SE with balanced cables are the best value though. I have the he400i with youkamoo balanced and really fun too. The Ananda with crystal core cable is the best Hifiman I've had though. Can you get them easier or cheaper with AliExpress? Adorama has their best price if you sign up for the email letter then sort biggest discount first to find them. The deals much better than just browsing their site.

I have some high power headamps. I didn't want to try the Sundaras since I already have cans that should be a lot better, really I wanted the HE6..

The prices here on a lot of gear are just unrealistic.
