Wild. It looks pretty sharp, actually. I wonder what the markup will be for the prettiness.

The pads look flatter than the T50p from first glance.

One of the criticisms of the T50p has been how the sound changes so drastically based on the precise placement of the pads on your ears...

Maybe this is an improvement?

Looks every bit as beautiful as its twin.

It's 280 Euro (£230).

Up close the plastic sheaves over the headbands that hold the cable in look really shoddy. Think they could have come up with something better than that.

This 1350 seems nice but something about the construction and portability make it not seem like what a true studio monitor should be.

I want to see an update to the DT-48.

t1 based studio monitor would be great id like to here a perfectly flat headphone, can they do it ?

Not if it's based off the 50p voicing. That thing's response curve looks like a mountain range.

I thought the same thing. It seemed an odd choice to base the design off the 50p. I'm sure it's to compete with the HD25, like was said earlier. On the other hand, if you look, the Beyer catalog is already littered with closed circumaural studio headphones (DT250, DT150, DT48, DT770 Pro, etc.), so what would be the sense of adding another one, even if it was based on the Tesla driver?

Dumb question, but how did you get the raw data? It's got to be some really simple thing I'm missing.

Just try change the least two numbers in the address.

For example:  http://graphs.headphone.com/graphCompare.php?graphType=0&graphID[]=2761   to  http://graphs.headphone.com/graphCompare.php?graphType=0&graphID[]=2759
