Nice!

I noticed the orange symbol too as Thomann.de just got back to me today with a total cost/payment method. Total cost shipped is 191E or $228. Payment via bank transfer and shipping via DHL. I'm going to have to go for it!

I ordered the 2006 version of the DT770 from a local internet store. They said their german warehouse should have it in 1-4 weeks, then it has to get here etc.

The waiting game begins.

I ordered my DT770 2006 version from Meier Audio. Hopefully they will arrive before the weekend.

Has anyone seen the new 880 reviews finding the mids to be bloated and muddy? There is a thread started for the Hi-Fi+ review.

I know you picked the worst colors intentionally, but that's probably the best think you could have ever written on it. If I ever do the custom thing with Beyers, I'm gonna frigging get that emblazoned on them.

Ha! Gotta like that!

It really is a sickness. Now I'm starting to think about my next "pair". Either DT880, DT990, or maybe SA5K for some real contrast with my HD650s.

I think you could do the engraving yourself, after you bought them. But the different color accessories is where its really at.

I like the default colour the best so its all good. Although a black Beyer with a 'Darth Beyer' engraving is also tempting

Im falling in love with those DT770s, quick Question though?

Are they really for bassheads? Ive just got my HD595s Senns but wondering need some cans for night time use but they need to not leak noise and disturb others. Worth me trying the DT770s out? Would I notice a loss in sound quality compared to the open Senns I have?

HD595 has a lot more balanced sound. With DT770 the bass is overpowering, it's just insane.

Some people like it but it was too much for me. I've tested the old version but I doubt there's any dramatic changes in the new one.

Well I've read that Audio Technica ATH-A900 would have somewhat similar sound than 595. I haven't heard ATH-A900 myself though.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
