Im new the the audio world and was wondering about headphone amps. Im currently using my computers intergrated audio and was wondering if an amp would make a differance in the audio quality or if there were any major advantages over not having one. And if so can anyone recomend a decent headphone amp? .Im kind of having a hard time finding any good information about this topic.Currently using a Ultamate Ears 6000 and listen to audio through itunes which im told is alac. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Make and model of computer's motherboard?
The Asus Xonar DG (PCI) sound card is $30 and there is a $10 mail in rebate this month.
The DG might improve audio quality over the motherboard's built in audio.
Then there is the Sound Blaster Z sound card, $80, better DAC then the DG's.
